Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Q-Lab Corporation is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to service our Outdoor Exposure Testing facility in Wittmann, AZ. Reporting to the Arizona Site Manager, this position is responsible for the correct operation and maintenance of the Q-TRAC Natural Sunlight Concentrators, AIM (Automotive Interior Materials) Boxes and other testing equipment and will assist with exposures and maintain calibrations.

Responsibilities:

• Q-TRAC/AIM Box maintenance and calibration
• Assist in special project preparations as needed
• Turn on/off Q-TRAC and AIM Boxes
• Complete freeze/thaw process as needed
• Aid in direct exposure field layout planning, rack setup, etc.
• Create requisitions for material needed for maintenance and equipment as needed
• Housekeeping (keeping work area clean, helping with other housekeeping)
• Assist with general exposures as needed
• Other duties as required or necessary
   

Required Skills:

• Proven mechanical and/or electrical training and experience required
• Minimum of 1-2 years of industrial maintenance experience
• Ability to read and follow schematics and electrical drawings
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Must be able to work both in the field and inside a laboratory setting
• Clean driving record
