Q-Lab Receives Recognition at SPE CAD RETEC 2024

Q-Lab is proud to have been recognized at SPE CAD RETEC 2024! The organization awarded Q-Lab with the Best Paper for last year's contribution High Irradiance Weathering Testing of Plastics, marking the third time Q-Lab has received this honor. The photo above shows Andy Francis receiving the award from SPE's Bruce Mulholland. 

SPE CAD RETEC (Society of Plastics, Engineers, Color and Appearance Division, Regional Technical Conference) is an annual event focused on the coloring of plastic materials. This year's session was held in Tampa, FL from 24-25 Sep 2024. Approximately 300 people attending the combination exhibit and technical symposium. At this year's event, Andy Francis gave a presentation titled Temperature control in accelerated Laboratory weathering testing of plastics or: Why you should use an insulated black panel when testing thermally-insulative polymers.
