We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative and Calibration Technician at our Bolton location. The best candidate for this role will have a keen eye for details, a strong sense of urgency and the ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilites

• Ship product/packages using UPS Worldship, and other shipping software. •
• Daily goods receipt and check-in.
• Complete all necessary domestic and export shipping documents accurately and timely in conjunction with the Order Desk
• Load/Unload Trucks LTL & Containers.
• Oversee all physical inventory in the Bolton warehouse.
• Calibrate black panel thermometers, and radiometers using approved calibration procedures.
• Ensure that laboratory instruments are maintained and calibrated.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and solve problems.
• Perform intermediate checks on field service working standards.
• Take care of painting and other repair / maintenance / upgrades of facilities that are reasonably practical to be completed in house. 
• Manage all furniture moving to accommodate guests for in house seminars and customer visits.
• New contact data entry from webinars / trade shows or any other source.
• On contact data base clean up – ensuring the data is as accurate as possible.
• Assisting the sales team with work in the showroom. This will include handling samples and programming the testers as well as ensuring the correct operation throughout the demo test duration.

Qualifications:

• Secondary school education
• Ability to work 8:00 AM – 16:30 PM 
• Ability to lift 70 lbs. • Must be able to operate a motorized lift truck
• Experience working with UPS shipping tools a plus
• Proficient with computer systems
• Previous experience in a lean manufacturing environment would be helpful
